The Joomla Hosting or Joomla Server packets are not accessible on the internet for visitors without a domain. A domain is a unique name attached to the package, such as www.12joomla.com.
A domain is registered for a certain time. You have the right to use the domain, but you will never own that domain. Usually, the registrations are for one year, but some TLDs have an extended registration period. Domains will always be automatically extended by us.
Each domain may be registered only once, so if you don't already have a domain it should still be free. To check whether the domain is still available you can use our DAS-tool.
